Learn what makes your heart beat.

Spring may have sprung in Australia, but not quite. Technically, the season doesn’t actually start until next week - that is, after the equinox. Which means that come noon on Sunday the 23rd, we can officially leave winter behind and finally enjoy longer, warmer days, and the wildlife, new blooms, and wispy cloud formations that they bring.

Ah, spring at last! And what better way to celebrate than with a teepee in the park?

Bring your inner flower child to Prince Alfred Park in Surry Hills, for a lush afternoon of traditional Tahitian dancing in your bare feet and under the cool sunshine. To embrace the full experience, be sure to wear something comfy - might we suggest a colourful sarong? And of course, to top it all off, a crown of fresh flowers that you’ll make on the day.

SPRING IS HERE & this Sunday 23rd September at Midday we’re inviting you to celebrate the warmer season with us during a magical Spring Equinox Tee-Pee in the Park. Join us as we give thanks to longer days, #blossoming #flowers and sunshine healing with a hands-on fresh #FLOWER #CROWN workshop. You’ll learn to twist and tie stems into floral accessories, which will later adorn your head during a beginner #TAHITIAN #DANCE session. #Goddesses, Shar and Marine, will use Mother Nature’s natural stage, the grass, and Sabrina Laughlin’s blissful track ‘Purotu No Te Fa’a’, to teach you how to sway your hips and embody traditional Tahitian steps. Fresh, #healthy fruit and snacks will be provided on the day. It’s a time to leave the past behind you and prepare for new beginnings, with love, flowers, dance and joy. Hope to see you all there! https://dancecentralsydney.weteachme.com/classes/1028836-spring-equinox-flower-crown-and-tahitian-dance?timestamp=1536813501561 @sharzywah @marine.l_nc
