Pinot Noir is one of the world’s most sought-after and age-worthy wines in the world. And while many winemakers find it difficult to grow the grape that makes this particular kind of vino (it’s sensitive to climate changes and vine diseases), this doesn’t stop Pinot Noir from being one of the most commonly consumed bottles of wine in the world.

For one, Pinot Noir tends to be fairly inexpensive; and a majority of the population love it because of the diversity of flavour it offers. It can be light, it can be heavy. It can taste sweet, but it can also come with a punch of spice. The fact that Pinot Noir comes in a wide palette of flavours makes it a very food friendly wine — there’s always a Pinot to pair with just about everything.

Pinot Noir, classically, comes in red — but you’ll soon find that each one can taste remarkably different from the other; and it all depends on the region it was produced from.
