First of all, what is a kokedama?

Kokedama is a Japanese term and literally means “moss ball”. It’s a style of Japanese bonsai that involves of potting up a plant’s root system in a ball of moss, binding it with a string, and then displaying in a dish or suspended in air. It’s a centuries-old style that’s becoming especially popular recently, because of the kokedama’s ability to bring the beauty of nature indoors, without taking up valuable shelf or floor space. If you live in a small space, easily bring a dose of green in your home with these adorable living planters.

The best part is that Kokedamas are DIY projects that can be easily tackled in just a few hours. It could also be the perfect Mother’s Day activity if you’re looking to do something new and different on the day. Classbunny is inviting participants on May 13th to come in, get their hands dirty, and learn how to make kokedamas to take home with you!

Make Kokedamas on Mother’s Day runs on Sunday, May 13th, from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Find out more about ticket prices and class details via the link below.
